Bird
Drakensberg rockjumper
Chaetops aurantius
A thrush-sized bird; males have a dark grey head with a bold white moustache stripe and rich orange underparts, females are paler. Rockjumpers live in small family groups among rocky grassland and scree, mostly above 2,000 m, and are found only in the Drakensberg and Lesotho highlands. A warming climate could squeeze their high-altitude habitat.
